The girls varsity volleyball team has been struggling, but have definitely showed tremendous improvement from the first half of the season. Captain Kelsey Sharp has been phenominal on the court and is a fantastic role model to her fellow teammates. Jen Freeman has been setting very well and has shown great improvement. Kailea Lalka has also helped motivate the team with her "get it girl" attitude on and off the court. Tiffany Diana has been doing a good job hitting and the team can always count on a comic relief from her after a hard fought battle. Andrea LaBounty and Lena Bouthsavong have also been doing a great job as the team's libero's. Jazzy "J" Chandler and Abby Depczynski are doing a great job crushing the ball as the middle hitters. Courtney Celej is now back from her injury and is already back to her old self, dominating on the court. Kirstie Dlugosz's hitting has been helping the team alot. Despite seeing limited action, Stephanie Novo, Melissa Gillen, Alison Hall and Lindsey Jakubczak have shown constant support and enthusiasm. The team has just suffered another big loss though with the injury of Kelsey Grosch. Kelsey was willing to give up her body for any ball and would hustle no matter what the situation. The team will miss her very much. And last, but certainly not least MVP Allie Radka has been doing great on the court. Come support the seniors on senior night.
