Congratulations to the girls' track team who participated in ECIC competition at JFK. Once again the girls had superior perfomances. MVP for Depew was captain Kristen Angierski who did it all. She lead off winning the triple with a season best junp, followed by a 5th place finish in the long jump. Kristen then took the 200 all the way to finals and ended by running the anchor on the 400m relay team which once again broke the school record narrowly finishing 2nd in small schools and 4th overall. Well done sprint team on again breaking your record - Katie Wild, Kim Obermeier and Jill Sosnowski. Obermeier also finished 3rd overall and 1st in small schools in the 400m. Jamie Wasielewski had her season best in the triple finishing 2nd overall in small schools. The distance team of Jenna Majka, Angela Franjoine, Maria Walter, and Liz Budzinski had their season best and look to break the record at Sectionals. Great job and congratulations to all the ladies!
