The girls varsity swim team is having another fine year with contributions coming from a mix of veterans and newcomers. Senior Julie Strychalski is continuing where she left off last year dominating her events. Julie has been a force in a number of events, especially the 100M backstroke. Junior Jamie Reidy has had excellent performances in both the 100M Fly and 200M Individual Medley. Sophomore Jasmine Ortiz is proving to be a swimmer to look out for over the next few years. The team is looking forward to finishing out their season with some big wins. Come down and check out the new electronic scoreboard, new drains, and the team maskot Poe!
