The team is off to a 2-0 start with a 3 to 1 non-league win over Iroquois. Novo, Grosch, and Bauer scored the three runs, and Gorski, Hall, and Gulisano had the three runs batted in. Nicole Gulisano threw a complete game stiking out 7 and allowing 5 hits. In the league opener, the team scored 3 runs in the top of the first inning, on 3 hits by Grosch, Novo, and Gorski. The Wildcats won 7-0 with Gulisano getting the win on the mound. She pitched the complete game with 3 hits allowed and 9 strikeouts. Defensive highlights were made by Alison Hall, who threw out a girl stealing and Stephanie Novo who had a double play against Pioneers best hitters.
