The boys baseball team is struggling through a hard fought season with a 3-5 overall record and an 0-4 wide open division record. Team captain Joe Christiano broke his hand in the first game and is now out for the rest of the season. Nick Chiarmonte is out for the season from a shoulder injury.Senior Steve Karnyski is leading his team in average hitting over .400 and is also third in his class ranking. Junior Cory Bukowski is helping support his team by filling in for Christano playing 1st base, pitching and catching. Zak Sauer who is normally a "warm weather hitter" is starting off his season well batting .300 in the lead off position. Dan Gorski moved up this year from the JV team to DH for the Wildcats. With their ambition the boys will fight through the rest of this season.
